Acquired Brain Injury assistance
Without the help of your nurses and carers it would not have been possible to keep John at home 24/7. After his accident that left him with an acquired brain injury he has required full-time care at home and it was your agency that managed to arrange all aspects of his care including physio, speech pathology, personal care and socialisation.
My daughter has Down Syndrome and I have always worried about what should happen if something happens to my husband and I and we cannot care for her with the basic day-to-day things she needs assistance with. We were recommended to Kate Cares from a family who also has a daughter with Down Syndrome whom they have Kate Cares staff visit a few times per week to ensure washing is done, assist with showering and dressing, grocery shopping, housekeeping, and just all the ‘things’ that keep life running smoothly for her. Kate came to visit us and I was so impressed with the care plan she suggested we implement…….that was 5 years ago now, my daughter has thrived, has a part-time job and is the happiest she’s been. I believe it wouldn’t have been possible without the ‘background support’ that Kate’s wonderful team provide behind the scenes I highly recommend your service!
